Our Story
A flame lit by two travelers
Ember & Oak began in 2018, when Maya and Theo returned from the highlands of Ethiopia with a duffel bag of green beans and a stubborn dream. They built a roastery around three simple beliefs: source beans directly from the farmers who grow them, roast in small batches to coax out each origin's true character, and create a warm, unhurried space where neighbors become regulars and regulars become friends.
Every cup carries a story — from the farm, to the flame, to your hands.
